Continuing on the success and popularity of the original TAT Special, the regular TAT model has been synthesized to incorporate the unique features that made the Custom Line model such a firm and instant favourite. Now known simply as the TAT Special, it has an elegant curve top body with a neck- through, slant heel design. On the reverse, the gloss finish of the body blends almost seamlessly into the oil finish of the neck making for an incredible playing experience and the custom switching options give you a rich pallet of tones which makes the TAT Special as versatile as it is beautiful.
When you pick up the TAT-Special, you realise the Caparison difference; a playable work of art that is precision-engineered to stand the test of time and meet the needs of even the most demanding player. Caparisons’ new striking Trans. Spectrum ‘Pearlescent Aura’ finishes really accentuate the graceful curves of this instrument and will subtly shimmer and dance under stage lighting. The TAT Special is also available in a Natural Matt finish.
The Transparent Spectrum finishes are a new option for Caparison, consisting of a transparent finish with a twist; depending on the lighting, the see-through colour will acquire a pearlescent look with a unique hue, enhancing the guitar’s lines with striking aura.
The ‘Rotary Switch Mode’ gives the guitar a multitude of usable pickup position options.
The 3-way pickup selector switch activates rotary switch mode when in the center position (2). The the 4-way rotary switch can then be used to change the pick-up output as detailed in the diagram above.
