After spending time as the Senior Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop, John Suhr began Suhr Guitars with Steve Smith in 1997. Using advanced CNC technology and incredible custom-wound pickups as the cornerstones of his building process, John began making incredible instruments that quickly set new standards in sound and playability. Being restless innovators, Joe and Steve soon felt the need to expand their business, and they brought their perfectionist attitude to an extensive line of pedals and amps that are just as absurdly good as their guitars. Suhr’s revolutionary use of modern technology and their insanely high standards have helped them create some of the finest guitars we have ever had the privilege of playing.
