by Paul Reed Smith all the way back in 1982. Aesthetically, these buttons were designed 
to echo the 12th fret bird inlay. Tonally, their light weight helps maximize the energy from 
the vibrating strings. Ergonomically, their shape feels secure under your fingers, making 
fine tuning a breeze.
